Other people complaining about AB Development and Glenn Canady’s course

I had a comment on my first post from a very nice lady called Linda. We’ve exchanged a few emails, and from the limited exchange we’ve had it seems that her experiences of Glenn Canady’s Gorilla Website Marketing Course and AB Development are very similar to my own. Her recollection of the wild claims that they make for the course in terms of financial success match my own recollection of what they said.

We are both in agreement. We do not believe it is right that Glenn Canady and AB Development can get away with this sort of thing.

After the months I’ve spent fighting this it was very refreshing to find someone else who was prepared to stand up and be counted. Someone else who was able to say that what happened to me also happened to them. Is there anyone else out there ? I’m sure there is. The problem appears to be that people don’t want to look foolish. People don’t want to admit that they might as well have flushed up to $10,000 down the toilet. People don’t want to admit that they feel duped. I can understand that, but by keeping silent it just means that it keeps on happening to others. I feel duped. I feel stupid about falling for their claims. I feel stupid for wasting $8000 we didn’t have. Money that my family desperately needed (and still do). But I’m going to make damned sure that people know what happened to me.

It’s up to the individual to believe what they want. It’s up to them to choose to do a course or choose not to do it. I’m not trying to stop anyone from doing that. However, I don’t want someone else in my situation, wishing that someone had stood up and given an honest opinion of their experiences BEFORE they parted with their money.

Someone on another site made a very valid point. Never pay for what you can’t measure. If someone won’t commit in writing to the things they are telling you down a phone, then ask yourself why ?

Also, do you believe the testimonials that you read on web sites ? Contact the people yourself. You may be surprised.

Advanced Business Development - bad advice ?

After busting a gut over Xmas 2003 / New Year 2004 trying to get Zeus to get up to the 100 minimum keywords that are needed for it to be trained properly (according to Cyber Robotics, the people who wrote it) I got the following email from Vicky at Advanced Business Development.

< ====== Start of Paste ======>
Chris,

Even though you are not as far as we would like, go ahead and run your Zeus
to find 50 themesites. Let’s see the response before we continue, now that
you trained him a bit more.

Let me know if you have questions.

Vicky @ AB Development

< ====== End of Paste ======>

Now bear in mind that it was Vicky’s job to mentor me. It was her job to make sure that I was being given the right information and doing things the right way. Cyber-Robotics have coded into Zeus all sorts of warnings that you NEED to train it with a minimum of 100 web sites for Zeus to operate properly. I’d already explained to Vicky that I had 67 and was finding it impossible to progress the way she was asking me to, and that the ’smartness’ indicator kept resetting itself, making the task I’d been assigned impossible !

To my mind, there were problems from day 1 with Glenn Canady’s Gorilla Web Site Marketing Course, and the way in which Advanced Business Development (mis)handled it. But the advice I was being given here flew in the face of logic. I had agreed before I started this course that I would do everything they said, and do it exactly as they said to do it. I’m a man of my word, and that is exactly what I did. I had been determined that should any problems or failure arise from the course then it would not be as a result of me.

Complaints about Glenn Canady and ABDevelopment

No, I haven’t got bored and given up on this blog. I’ve been busy typing up my complaint regarding Glenn Canady’s Gorilla Website Marketing Course and ABDevelopment. It takes a LOT longer than you would imagine, and even then I had to cut it VERY short. When you have spent a year of your life trying solidly to make something work then there is a lot to tell. Unfortunately for Glenn Canady and ABDevelopment it is not good.

BTW - I see Glenn Canady no longer seems to link to his Gorilla Website Marketing Course from his original Gorilla Website Marketing site. It is now on a different site where he sings the praises of Vicky, the lady who did the ‘advanced’ mentoring on my course. His courses are now being pushed through gorilla-internet-marketing.com .

Glenn Canady offers to ‘a few select companies’ that he will do all the online marketing for them for ONLY ‘80% of website sales‘. This mans generosity knows no bounds ! It’s just a shame that he can’t seem to accept responsibility for the failure that his course ended in after I paid $8000 to do it, and doesn’t seem to be able to admit that Glenn Canady’s Gorilla Website Marketing Course actually DOES have something to do with him.

My updates continue starting from tomorrow.
