ABDevelopment - my ‘Welcome’ email
On the 3rd November 2003 I got my ‘welcome’ email from a company called ABDevelopment (Advanced Business Development). I’ve pasted it below. I’ll let you have a read of it before I make any further comments. BTW - ABDevelopment had been tasked with the mentoring part of Glenn Canady’s course.

This email is to explain the next steps for Enrollment.
A mentor is being assigned to you, and will email you in the next couple of days to schedule your first session appointment. The Mentor will work with you through intense training, and will give you up to 10-15 hours of assignments which need to be completed at your own pace. This agenda will assure us that you will make the sales that you need, therefore, insuring a testimonial. Our mentor staff will work with you every step of the way if assistance is needed either by phone or email.
Also, a package will be sent to you priority mail, included is your invoice, instructions, and certificates. The invoice needs to be signed, and returned with the envelope included as soon as possible. Due to your location, you may fax them back to us.
Your website is already under construction. When you and your mentor have focused on a product and theme, please email our technical support staff directly at tech@abdevelopment.com. Working with the site you would need to complete product research with drop ship companies, attached to this email is a list for you to start. The marketing of the website is completed as you go through and advance to next levels.

OK, lets have a look at this comment :

Well let me tell you I was working 7 days a week and putting in over 15 hours A DAY some days, and I did this month after month. I followed EXACTLY what I was told to do. I did not, and still do not have, anything like decent sales from my site. I’ve spent $8000 and I think I’ve made around $50. Do you call that a good return on investment ? Do you think I believe that this is a course worth doing ? Do you think that sort of thing would encourage YOU to spend your money on Glenn Canady’s Gorilla Website Marketing Course ? Oh, and by the way, the small number of sales that I’ve made from my site have not been as a result of Glenn Canady’s Gorilla Website Marketing techniques. Nor have they been as a result of anything that ABDevelopment have done. They came about purely and simply because I recently switched to using Google Adwords !
As for the drop ship list I’ll cover that in my next post.
